Lora Wright
Director of Sustainable Animal Proteins, Where Food Comes From, Inc
As the Director of Sustainable Animal Proteins, Lora is responsible for managing sustainability standards and initiatives at Where Food Comes From, Inc. She oversees CARE which is an on-farm verification program to confirm responsible animal husbandry, environmental stewardship and human community care for the livestock and poultry industries. Wright brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to her role – having worked in areas of animal welfare, sustainability, specifications, labeling, food safety and quality assurance across multiple livestock and poultry species, and at all levels of their associated supply chains. Lora received a MSc in Animal Science from Colorado State University, with a concentration in Meat Science and a BSc in Animal Science from South Dakota State University.
