Martin Maquivar, PhD

Clinical Assistant Professor, Washington State University

Dr. Martin Maquivar is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Animal Sciences at Washington State University (WSU). His primary area of research emphasis is in applied reproductive management and physiology of beef and dairy cattle. Among his responsibilities, Dr. Maquivar also assists with cattle handling and BQA training on Washington state dairies and feedyards. Dr. Maquivar graduated with a PhD in animal science from The Ohio State University in 2011 and a DVM and MS from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2001 and 2003, respectively.
