Agriculture Relations Coordinator, Feeding Florida

Kayla Gonzales serves as Agriculture Relations Coordinator for Feeding Florida, the state’s network of food banks. In this role, she supports statewide agriculture outreach by working directly with farmers and ranchers to connect Florida produced beef, dairy, and produce to families in need. She helps manage partnerships across the agricultural community and assists with initiatives like the Beef Recovery Program, which provides a sustainable market outlet for producers while increasing access to protein for food-insecure Floridians. A graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Animal Science, Kayla brings her background in cattle and agricultural advocacy to Feeding Florida’s mission of strengthening the state’s food system. She and her husband, Matt, are raising their family in the Florida Panhandle, where they remain actively involved in the cattle industry.
