ABOUT the recognition PROGRAM
The USRSB Recognition Program was developed to encourage and recognize voluntary adoption of the U.S. Beef Industry Sustainability Framework. The process is based on a third-party review of programs who seek recognition for their alignment with the USRSB Framework.
The Recognized Programs shown below have proactively and voluntarily incorporated sustainability metrics that have been determined by the entire beef supply chain to allow the measurement and documentation of continuous improvement in sustainable beef production.
The USRSB appreciates the interest and commitment to continuous improvement in the sustainability of U.S. beef production of these programs. Learn more about each program below!

The FSNS Certification & Audit BEEF Environmental Sustainability assessment is a third-party verification of environmental factors, employee training and safety, and cattle care. A third-party audit provides unbiased feedback to a producer on the current state of their operation, how they align with industry best practice, and areas of opportunity within the operation. We believe that you're able to best manage what you measure, and verification of an operation's sustainability initiatives allows producers to better tell their story!
